Today is the beginning of Holy week yup...is the holiest week in the Roman Catholic calender.This morning was indeed special because i have never celebrated Palm Sunday in Europe so it was an eye opener for me...though there was not much of difference just that there was a procession from one church to another which had mass after that...it was really great to see so many people joining in for the mass and children singing in the choir..it was juz wonderful and i can;t wait for Easter next Sunday where there will be a big celebration yeah..

Weather has been good lately sun is up and the temperature is up by a couple of degrees but thats good enough hahaha..prob take a walk in the park later to inhale some fresh air and see the people throwing in bread crumbs in the pond for the hungry ducks haha....

oh tmr i start my new subject which is International management...yeah so i am looking foward to it..

yesterday was great..got a chance to go out with my foreign friends..four germans a russian n myself a singaporean hahaa yeah..well we started of visitng the PORSCHE musuem which was really small..it took like 15 minutes to see everythign ya..next we headed to the StadMitte which means the main street of Stuttgart for sightseeing n shopping and LUNCH hahah which was a chinese buffet which was good too..we finished in the evening n headed back home but that was not the end of the day for me though..i went out again with three other friends to Wurzburg which is about an hour drive to party hahah at some club yeah n we stayed there till like erm..2 plus in the morning.it was jam packed still when we left but the music n ambience was great it was an experience i will never forget...i always felt that when you wanna to experience a country anywhere is the world it not only about looking around seeing the buildings and shopping(understand melissa)....but its about hanging out with the locals getting to know them and laughing with them over lunch or a cup of coffee at the cafe...hope i would have more outings with my roomates living just above me..hahha

another week in school...yup..well started on a new module which is International Finance haha yeah its pretty interesting at the same time a little tough so ya..during weekend was suppose to clean the kitchen(which is pretty big) and the hall together with the spanish gal living in same apartment as me n guess who had to do everything....well guess what..ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!can u believe she can just stand there n do nothing ya ok the only thing she did was taught me how to use the dishwasher coz i never used one at home..n its not that DIFFICULT just that i didn't know where to put the soap thats all!!!!n the ironic thing was that yesterday during lunch she told me that the next time we have to clean again she will do EVERYTHING..so i just to wait n see whether she means what she says....or ELSE..hahaha went running with an american gal and her boyfriend who is living just above me yeah...running during winter hahaha but i was a great feeling wearing layers of clothes with your hat n gloves on hahah it was a good way of spending my sunday afternoon though..hahaha

well..another week has almost gone by for me...can;t wait to start school on monday yup meet new classmates and other stuff....this week has been rather cold. It has been snowing a lot n i mean alot until we could play snowball fight...haha..first time for me..its very relaxing lokking at the snow falling down just by looking outside my window every morning..haha..today before my class started i overheard the other two singaporeans who were with me here in Germany..well they were speaking in chinese n english mix and since i could understand,,,i heard them toking why on earth they are here in germany n were complaning a little abt this n that n i was behind them listening to their conversation..hahha..but to me..i chose to come here to gain as much experience as i can n enjoy my stay here....like i rmb wat melissa wrote in her blog few days ago about wat louis armstrong said about make everything that is negative positive and erm..i can't really remember the other sentence but it ended something like and everything an opportunity..yup..n i know that this is an opportunity not to be missed at all..yup..the weekend is here again..haha

finally..hahah after a pretty long time i have managed to update my blog thanks to SOMEONE.hahhaa..well been in germany for a month now at least. Last week, I moved into my new apartment in this town called Bad-Mergentheim. People here are great. They are warmth and friendly especially my roomates and those living those on top of me coz this apartment has a few floors hahha.My room is pretty big though bigger than mine at home n even the bed!!!!!!!i didn;t have the bedsheets for that size of bed so i had to like joined both of my bedhseets together which was still not enough actually still but oh well have to live with it till may.Good thing is that I have INTERNET now and a telephone which will come soon ya..

School has be good so far my german has been improving haha..well i came a little for my studies here actaully but get to reflect upon it..i think it was quite a good experience in the sense that i got to go to one of my DREAM places or in other words city...LONDON it was like a dream come true for me spent like a week day it was great..going to the musuems,soccer stadium,walk along the shopping district of london and even trying some chinese food there which was great...i even had like my friend's friend told me that its like that best roasted duck in the world no kidding...by the way its a chinese restaurant at Bayswater Station.(Take the TUBE) hahahha its the name of london subway station..one of most interesting stations i have seen hahah ya...was quite complicating at first but i got the hang of it in like two days..because u got to know exactly where to change stops by looking at the various colour codes on the map which was cool even though i did alight at some wrong stations before but it was ok..since my card could be used all day hahaha...

Moved in last thursday to my new apartment...living with a french guy from LYON and a spanish gal from Zaragotta( its between Barcelona and Madrid) and they are so proud to say that hahahah..its true..they are really nice people i have to say. oh ya i am also living with another singaporean person from NYP as well.....in class i think i am quite the most talkative one hahah..asking about so many things and talking a lot about germany n stuff whereas the other two singaporeans are like i dunno look at their faces n is like i can tell myself that i can be like the best student from nyp here in Bad-Mergentheim which of coz i want to achieve too..n have a great time as well..

So one week has gone another will come n then i finally start my lessons in english..I will have 5 modules which are international management,international finance,marketing,international cross-cultural management and lastly its human reosurce&organization hahahhaa...thats all ok including my german module so thats six in total..i will have two weeks though of break before my last module and before i fly back home to Singapura..prob go somewhere got some places in mind so am still looking out:)

The kitchen in my apartment is huge man...got everything i need to cook n stuff...been eating bread with tuna hahaha sandwich, eating pizza from the supermarket and of coz pasta all shapes and sizes coz pasta here is cheap ya..there is a big supermarket nearby so its alrite just that one thing that shocked me was they do not give u plastic bags at all!!!!!!NONE u got to buy bags from them or u could bring your own i am serious...its very stupid actaully but thats germany..trying to be enviromentally friendly..like real just look at the amount of cigarettes ppl here smoke and the BEER that they drink hahahah

Speaking about beer, had a few this week well the german ppl upstairs treated me and the french guy on monday juz a small bottle. Just wanted us to get a feel of wat german beer is actually hahaha..ya n then the second nite they invited us upstairs for some chit chat n drinks again this time with some cheap champagne and sparkling wine from the supermarket hahaha..spend the whole evening talking about our country and schools.

Last weekend was graet.Went out with the freanch guy to Heidelberg.It a must go. There is a beautiful castle there with the bridge which u can walk along n when u look back u can just stand in awe of the castle just behind you..on sunday we again went out but to another city called Wurzburg.This city is filled with churches all around n not forgetting a castle on the hill again hahaha ya..its amazing how one city is filled with so many churches and one big castle right on top of the hill where u can jsut stand all day to admire the whole city from the top...i bet i will be even better during spring when all the greenery returns hahaha...
